Some of the scariest nights of my life were nights that I was at home alone with my kids and one of them was sick and I didn’t know what was wrong with them. Recently my son has had a really bad cough and it’s getting to the point where his throat is raw and he’s very uncomfortable especially when he’s trying to sleep. So late one night I got the help of a Walgreens Pharmacist to see what I should do to help relieve some of the pain he was experiencing.
So with the suggestions from Ronda the Pharmacist, I made a midnight run to our local 24 hour Walgreens to pick up some Delsym for kids. It was a life saver, or should I say a sleep saver!! He slept better that night then any night prior since he got sick, and so did Mama!
I love the fact that I have some ‘on call’ help when my Doctor isn’t in, and I don’t feel that it’s something ER worthy. Being able to help my children rest better and feel better sooner rather then later when we visit or get a call from the Doctor definitely makes life a bit easier.
