Myrtle Beach: It’s Not Just for Summer

I have always loved the beach – it’s my favorite place. I try to go every year whenever possible. I usually go when it’s busy and crowded, but I don’t care – I LOVE THE BEACH! I’ve always went to the beach in the summer, mostly that’s because when my kids are off school, and I never really thought about how relaxing and enjoyable an off-season trip would be. So when my husband and I were invited to visit Myrtle Beach this fall, I jumped at the chance; I mean, the beach is beautiful no matter what time of year it is right??

We were invited to stay at the SeaWatch Resort which is a family resort, and one of the most friendly , relaxing places I’ve stayed while visiting Myrtle Beach. They give you the full-on resort experience with 2 lazy rivers, 2 ocean-front pools, ten hot tubs, an indoor pool and even a kiddie pool to boot! They have rooms to fit nearly any family size, from ocean front studios to three bedroom condos.

The view at SeaWatch is spectacular, and the staff is outstanding! I have noticed at a lot of places I’ve stayed the staff is “OK” but the staff at SeaWatch was so helpful, kind, and always smiling! In fact, since they knew my husband and I were there on a romantic long weekend, they brought us a sweet little romantic package to our room once we were settled. It was a small sweet gesture, that meant so much!

The beach was beautiful, and even though the temps were in the 60’s (sometimes 70’s when I was lucky) the sun was shining enough to enjoy some time at the beach. In fact, the beach wasn’t packed like it normally is during the summer so we had plenty of room (and even quiet). It was completely gorgeous!

Beautiful night 🌊 🌅
