Awareness For Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is a disease that affects thousands, if not millions, of people each year. There are women who suffer through the pain of the disease and family and friends who stand by to comfort and support those women. There are organizations that help women who are experiencing the devastating effects of breast cancer.

The American Breast Cancer Foundation raises funds to help those who need the proper screening to diagnose breast cancer as well as the financial help to get the medications that are needed. This foundation began in 1997. It helps by giving grants to those who need the assistance. Specialized bras and wigs are also given to those who might not be able to afford them so that they can feel like they are as normal as possible. Susan G. Komen is a charity that often has races to raise money for the research needed to find a cure for breast cancer. This is one of the largest organizations in the world that helps with breast cancer research and financial assistance for those with breast cancer.

A breast cancer awareness charity is something that can help women and their families through a difficult time in life. It’s important to do research about the charity before donating any money to make sure the funds that are raised will be spent wisely. If you are someone who believes that breast cancer is a disease that can be beat, then the money that you spend is worth that and much more to women who have breast cancer. The donations that are received will go right back to your community as there is likely someone who is affected by breast cancer where you live. There are often sales to raise money or other fundraising events in the community. You might see the work done in a doctor’s office or health center with funds that have been raised. If there are more people who are aware of breast cancer, then there will be more people to join the fight to help cure it or slow the disease so that women can spend time with their families as long as possible.

FREE Kids Chore & Reward Chart Printables

It took me more years than I would care to admit that Chore & Reward Charts are the best and easiest way to teach kids discipline and get them to help around the house. My oldest thrives on order and doesn’t do well with the chaos that I seem to live for, so this has been a great compromise and easy way for us to work together.
She knows what is expected of her on a daily basis, and of course the rewards are quite a motivation as well! Reward Chore Chart Packaging

Below is the chore list for Sunday – Saturday. They can check it off daily to make sure it’s been done. I print out 2 of these for each kid because I include everything they have to do each day including showers, homework and picking up after themselves because that way it’s a constant reminder each week.

All in a Days Work Chore ChartThe Reward  chart lets you “price’ or ‘point’ the rewards for each activity. For example, taking a shower is 1 point because they have to do that no matter what. But doing a load of laundry is 5. Calculate how many points they need for each reward they are working for – My oldest prefers cash or iTunes gift cards, where my youngest works towards LEGO sets, or an Xbox game.

Staying Fresh All Day with with Dry Spray

Global Influence Disclosure

After my son was born there wasn’t an antiperspirant that could do the job for me any longer. When I worked out it was like my armpits had sprung a leak and I cannot even begin to tell you how many tanks and tops have been trashed from the smears from the deodorants that seemed to never come out of my clothes; let alone actually keep me dry and smelling fresh. So when I was given the chance to try out the new Dry Sprays by Degree Men, Degree Women, Dove, Dove Men+Care and Axe I wasn’t expecting them to be much different.

I decided to give the Dove Dry Spray a try the morning I was heading off to work and then the gym after. I will admit when I first sprayed it on it felt a bit weird, and it did burn a bit on the arm that had a small scrap.  But it dried instantly and it had a nice scent.
I noticed the scent throughout the day, which was a good thing – it meant it was working! It lasted throughout my very busy long stressful day at the office, and a short workout after work. The best part??
There wasn’t a nasty sticky spot on my new shirt! No residue left behind from the roll on types of antiperspirant deodorants I’d used in the past.

I let my daughter try it, and she loved it as well, and I plan on picking up some more for my son and my husband this weekend at Walmart.

Be sure to go enter to win some Dry Spray of your own, plus for a friend! Try it out, and share it on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #TryDry for your chance to win!
