This is a sponsored post on behalf of Mrs. Fields. Though I was compensated for my time, all opinions are my own.

The definition of a hero can vary from person to person – a hero to me personally, would be our soldiers. Brave men and women who risk their lives on a regular basis to protect our freedom. Your definition of hero may be the single Mom doing it on her own, or a friend who is bravely facing a life-threatening disease.
Whoever your hero, Mrs.Fields® is searching for America’s hometown heroes to appear on future boxes of Mrs. Fields® cookies. Just enter and share your hero’s story for a chance to win a year’s supply of cookies for your and your hero in the Mrs.Fields® #ShareYourHero Sweepstakes.

I started to think about who I wanted to share as my hero – I know so many that I admire and respect, especially our service men and women. As I was trying to decide on who I wanted to chose, (and of course I was doing that while scrolling through Facebook) my cousin’s profile popped up and I knew just who I was going to use.
You see eleven years ago, just shy of his twenty-third birthday my cousin’s husband was killed by a bomb in Iraq. Married for only a few years, my cousin was now a widow. Chuck was a great guy, willing to do anything for the people he loved – and for his country. He made the ultimate sacrifice – and to me, there is no bigger hero. I know his family and friends would be proud to see Chuck’s face on a box at the grocery store honoring him and the sacrifice he made for all of us.

AS A PROUD SUPPORTER OF THE USO, MRS. FIELDS® IS DONATING 25,000 COOKIES TO OUR HEROES IN UNIFORM.
So to honor Chuck, and other heroes like him be sure to go enter the #ShareYourHero Sweepstakes! Once you complete your entry, fill out your address information and choose which new cookie flavor you want to try and they’ll send you a free sample.
