We tend to overeat naturally due to the size of our plates, meals served at restaurants being over portioned and the simple fact that we all tend to overeat naturally. When you learn portion control and purchase a portion control plate, you’re more apt to lose weight without trying.

Be Mindful of Thoughts & Environment

Try to avoid talking to yourself in a negative tone and feeling guilty for eating something that you shouldn’t. If you spend too much time making yourself feel guilty or repeating things that you can’t eat during your weight loss process, you’ll only feed the inner craving demon. Try to be mindful of your environment by not putting yourself into a situation where you will have to continuously talk to yourself about fighting the urge to overeat.

Stop Calorie Counting

Learn to pick healthier as natural as you can get options for food in your home. Think about setting yourself up for health snacking rather than trying to count calories or remove foods completely from your diet. For example, you can switch out apple juice for an apple which is closer to the natural state of this food source.
