In our household football season = a family divided. My husband lived in Columbus Ohio for a few years, and became an avid Ohio State fan. Though from Maine, his blood runs red and white. I however, always the rebel, have been a Michigan Wolverines fan for as long as I can remember. I have Michigan t-shirts, hoodies, socks, and remember those popular Starter brand team jackets? Yup, mine was Michigan (yes, I was quite a tomboy!)
Most of our squabbles are light-hearted jokes and banter, (except when he threatened to burn my Michigan fleece blanket!) and I even picked up a flag to hang on the porch to share our love/hate relationship with the neighborhood.
We’ve even gotten our kids in on it, the girl’s against the boy’s! So football season is quite a fun time for our family, especially the MU VS. OSU game!
