Rice Krispy Ornaments

Another family friendly recipe/craft to do with the kiddos this year. These Crispy Rice Ornament Treats are great for decor on the table at Christmas, or to send in for Holiday/Christmas parties at school. We also like to put these in baskets that we give to the neighbors, mailman, etc, they bring a bit more festivity to everything.
Again, pretty simple because if it’s too difficult there is no way this un-crafty Mama is going to be able to make it look right.

Slowly add 3 cups of the Krispy Rice to the pan over low heat and stir to coat.

Remove from heat and let cool until you can comfortably handle it.  Oil or spray your hands so the mixture won’t stick.  Make 3 inch balls rolling the mixture between your hands.  Place on waxed paper.

While the ornaments are still sticky top with a Rolo.

Repeat the process for the other color.

Serve or store in an airtight container.
