If there is one thing that I must have clean in my house – no matter how chaotic it may be – is my carpet. I have great vacuum cleaner and it’s ran on a daily basis. So when the kids, the dog, or even the husband, drags dirt/mud in, or spills something on the carpet it stresses me out a bit. I usually grab a bottle of Rug Doctor Carpet Cleaner and a rag, and put some major elbow grease into getting the spot out. But sometimes that’s not enough. I usually have to break out the big, bulky carpet cleaner and rope off the living room and spend hours and hours getting the carpets clean and then another few hours keeping everyone off of it! So when I was given the opportunity to review the Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner I jumped at the chance.

The Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner is engineered with everyday life in mind. It is designed for quick and easy cleanup anytime, anywhere so you can get back to your life in minutes. There’s some great features unlike any other carpet cleaners, such as: 

• Compact! It’s fairly small, so can easily be put away in any area without taking up a ton of room. The electric cord conveniently wraps around the back, there’s a carry handle that pops up and even a handle release that lifts up so you can pull around when you’re cleaning. The motorized brush clips on the front and the hose wraps under the tanks.
• The two tanks hold plenty to get many jobs done and are extremely easy to fill and empty when finished. My daughter does this by herself and even helps her little brother with it.So super simple!
• The Motorized Brush is THE BOMB! It has a button to use the brush and a button to spray the water when you want more. Just move it back and forth on the stain/spill and it works wonders.
• The suction power is top notch. I’ve only used it a few times, but I love how powerful it is cleaning up. No worries about leaving behind standing water when cleaning on your upholstery and other surfaces. (So they can run right in and out without blocking off the whole area until it dries!)
