We have talked about before how eating healthy and organic can get a bit pricey. Were talking half the food for the same budget – and I’ve always tried to give tips and tricks on stretching those dollars as far as possible. As I’ve done my research, I’ve found some really great products at Costco that are not only healthy, but organic as well.
Thankfully for my Northern Kentucky friends, they no longer need to travel 30+ miles to get to the closest Costco – the new Florence location opens today! Between I-71/75 and Mall Road the new Florence Costco is located at 800 Heights Blvd.
There are some staples that I buy at Costco each visit – Kirkland Nuts which makes a super easy healthy on-the-go snack.It comes in a 30 pack with peanuts,almonds and my favorite, cashews. I also buy fresh fruit like strawberries and grapes (my kids’ favorites), as well as their chicken breast (organic!) I will also admit they have some pretty cute clothing items as well, I’m pretty sure I never walk out of there without at least wanting to buy a shirt, pair of y0ga pants, or an outfit for my kids. So if you’ve never been to Costco – what are you waiting for?? You’re totally missing out.

If I have to pick just one favorite, it’s Kirkland Signature Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
I love stocking up on diapers and wipes at Costco! We save a ton of money!
I have never been to Costco, so I don’t have a favorite item yet.
My favorite is the nuts and fruit.
I like buying their fresh fruits and vegetables. Their cakes are really good too!

I’ve never actually been inside a Costco. Sad, I know! There is one about 45 minutes away from my house, I need to check it out!

I love to buy our water there, we buy gallons in 6 packs.
I buy a lot of snacks at Costco for school lunches like mini bags of pretzels, cookies and crackers. It’s really convenient and the price is usually great.
I love to buy the organic frozen cherries. They are great in my smoothies!
I love buying fruit at Costco!
I love the way they vacum-pac their Rotisserie chicken! So many uses, makes for quick dinners!!
Costco has Honeyville Farm almond flour, my favorite brand!
I love their selection of fruit and produce as well as some of their meat. Their bakery always has something fun that I try to resist and we also like their tortillas and chips.
like others have mentioned, i don’t live in KY but we love costco! my favorite thing to buy there are nuts! we love the kirkland brand and especially during the holiday season like to stock up on nuts for pies and baking breads 😀
