I always try to do my best to look for sales, clip coupons, and get the most bang for our buck. But let’s admit it- sometimes it’s just not realistic. Work, kids, and sometimes pure exhaustion forces us all make quick runs into the store without so much as looking at an ad, let alone search for coupons. Not only does Walmart have the best prices – but they are offering to prove it with not only price matching, but giving you a gift card for the difference if any local competitor has your items for a lower advertised price!
To show you how it works, I will be taking one of my regular hurry-up-and-shop grocery trips and pick up a few other things we need at home. I’ll then scan my receipt so that the Walmart Savings Catcher can compare with other local stores and see how much I will get back in savings on a eGift Card!
When I saw this commercial I thought it was too good to be true but I’ve already saved money and got the difference on a gift card! so cool.
What Walmart is giving out giftcards for the difference! I am about to go testing out the theory in hopes in scoring some free beauty products with the remaining balance. Thats awesome go Walmart!!
This is something I’ve been meaning to try. I am not sure how much we will save because we live in a really small town, so unless they compare prices with a nearby big city, we may not save much. I actually have like 10 receipts sitting here now. I think I’m going to go try it out. Wish me luck!

I swear, this is GENIUS! I just heard about this a couple of days ago but I didn’t really find out all of the details. Can’t wait to see how much money we’ll get back!! I used to shop using comp ads all the time, but now I don’t have the luxury of spending all that time doing it anymore. This will save SO much time AND money! Thanks for sharing!

I shop sales and use a few coupons, but I don’t have a lot of time to put into it. This sounds like a way to easily get some additional savings.
