I wrote this review while participating in a campaign forMom Central Consulting on behalf of Playskool. I received product samples to facilitate my party and review, and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
As a Mom on kid number three I have came to know products that I want to stay away from – and products that I trust no matter what. Playskool is one of those brands that I know I can rely on, so when I was given the opportunity to host a Playskool Preschool House Party, I couldn’t pass it up!
We invited over some family and friends of all ages to enjoy some snacks and some play time with the new Let’s Imagine Elmo, Transformers Mixable, Mashable Heroes Optimus Prime and Grimlock, and Stack n’ Spin Monkey Gears.
The Let’s Imagine Elmo was a hit! Elmo had 3 hats for different imaginary themes and play modes. Choice from a Prince, a Sea Captain or a Cowboy!
I think the boys enjoyed Cowboy Elmo the best, but they had tons of fun playing with all the imaginary themes. The younger kids and older kids were both super impressed with the changes!
The Stack n’ Spin Monkey Gears are a great way to keep the little ones occupied. The kiddos get to place colorful gears all around the monkeys belly hands and feet. It encourages fine motor skills, hand/eye coordination, and cause & effect ( they get an awesome visual light up treat after they ‘build’ their monkey!) It kept the little kiddos busy for hours! This would be a great 1st birthday gift!
I think the all time favorite for our Transformer loving boys was the Transformers Mixable, Mashable Heroes Optimus Prime and Grimlock. Who doesn’t want to save the world?? Mr. Potato Optimus Prime and Dino Grimlock want to defeat the Decepticons! You can use your imagination and transform them any way your heart desires. You can also mix and mash them up with others – I know what these boys will have on their Christmas list this year!
(he didn’t want to let it out of his hands!)
We had a blast with all the fun toys and games – we even played a game of When I grow up… I found out something new, my son wants to be a police officer!! My nephew wants to be a ninja – I think maybe the 2 can work together some day!!
Check out these great items and others on Playskool’s website!!
