This summer the kids, hubs and I loaded up and trekked the 1,200 plus miles from Ohio to Maine. I consider myself a “Master Packer” and I assumed as usual, I was completely prepared for our 10 day trip. I had packed all four kids bags, my husband’s, mine, our cooler and snack bag. I was ready. I was not prepared for the massive bird-size mosquitoes (seriously – if you ask a Mainer, they will tell you that’s their state bird). Or the black fly ‘epidemic.’ Black lies are tiny about 1/4 size of a house fly, and they like to bite! My youngest daughter suffered the worst wrath of Mommy not being prepared.

When we got home I did my research, and looked for a family friendly company who helped my kids (and myself) ‘fend off the funsucker’s during our summer. I found some great products by Cutter®. Cutters is a must have at our house. The mosquitoes are terrible this year and yes the black flies are vicious – gosh they hurt when they bite. Living in the country Cutters is great at keeping us bug free!

Black flies are the worst because they are relentless! They just keep biting over and over and they’re hard to fend off. Thank goodness for Cutter!

I hate bug bites. They can ruin a fun summer day. And I am glad I reread funsuckers. Didn’t read that correctly the first time.
I hate bug spray and hate the chemicals, but I hate bugs even more. I don’t mind the scent of the skinsations… and I’ve never seen the Cutter Dry. I’m curious about that.

Bug bites are the worst! We have a mosquito addicted backyard, so I have to keep bug spray handy. I haven’t tried this product yet, though. I may have to give it a whirl!

My kids get eaten alive without bug spray and the mosquito bights are not little they swell up to nasty itchy things! Cutter is literally stock piled at my house!

This is what we buy to protect us in the summer from bug bites. My kids would break out in a horrible rash if they were not protected.
