Keto Silk French Pie

Another great Keto dessert recipe – you’ll never feel like you are missing out with this delicious Keto Silk French Pie! This is one of my favorites, and even my non-Keto family loves it.

Ingredients: 

Crust: 

  • 1 ½ cup almond flour
  • 3 TBSP cocoa powder
  • 1  egg
  • 1/3 cup erythritol
  • ¼ cup butter – not melted
  • ½ tsp  baking powder
  • ¼ tsp  salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Filling: 

  • 16 oz cream cheese  – set out at room temperature
  • ¾ cup whipping cream
  • 4 tbsp  sour cream
  • 3 oz dark chocolate – melted
  • ½ cup  unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp  vanilla extract
  • ½ cup erythritol

Whipped Cream Topping: 

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2  TBSP  Swerve Powdered Sweetener
  • 1  tsp  vanilla extract
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.  Grease a 9-inch pie dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the almond flour, sweetener, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and cold butter.  Mix well to combine and be sure the butter is well incorporated.
  • Add the egg to the mixture and blend until the dough looks like crumbles.
  • Spread and flatten out the dough into the prepared pie dish. Bake for 15 minutes. Allow the pie crust to completely cool.

Chocolate Filling

  • In a large mixing bowl add cream cheese, whipped cream, sour cream, melted chocolate, cocoa powder, sweetener and vanilla extract. Blend for about 3-4 minutes or until the chocolate filling is light and fluffy,
  • Spread the chocolate filling into the baked pie crust and refrigerate for 4-6 hours.

Whipped Cream Topping: 

  • In a large bowl, with an electric mixer blend the whipping cream, vanilla extract and powdered sweetener. Beat on high until peaks form.
  • Top the pie with whipped cream topping and chocolate shavings.
  • Enjoy!
