Stay Comfortable on the Sidelines with Supplies from Dicks Sporting Goods®

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Dick’s Sporting Goods ®  along with Vocalpoint. Though I was  compensated for my time, all opinions are my own.

When you have kids involved in sports like I do, you probably spend a lot of time at sports stores; between what they need, and what I need to survive the season,  which is why we always head to Dicks Sporting Goods.

I love to shop, but I definitely do not enjoy having to go store to store to get everything we need – so having a one-stop-shop for all our sports and sidelines needs makes this Mama happy.  All their sports equipment from cleats, to gloves, soccer balls and baseball bats can be found in this one stop shop. My comfy chair and cooler are necessities  to spending hours on the sidelines (in the heat or the cold!)

If you have more than one kid involved in extra curricular activities (or one kid involved in multiple sports) you know how many hours upon hours you spend in the sidelines. Somewhat like the United States Postal Service, sports seem to go on whether there’s rain, sleet, snow or hail (O.K., maybe not exactly like that, but you know what I mean). I have been rained on, wind-burnt, and soaked in sweat waiting on the sidelines cheering my kids on – so a canopy chair with a cup holder, and some leg support is my lifeline to keep from getting too much sun (or rain) and helping my back not feel so strained (I guess it does come with age). I keep a cooler full of water bottles & Gatorade for the kids, and their snacks for after the game.

There’s nothing greater than watching your kids excel in something they love – and having the comfort of home there helps me enjoy it that much more. It actually amazes me how many parents come unprepared – my canopy chairs and cooler stay in my car for the season – we are always ready!

There are a ton of different chairs to pick from – be sure you try them ‘on for size’ before you make a decision. The comfort levels are different, and you might miss having a double cup holder, or side table, or my favorite part, the extra leg support.

A cooler with a handle to pull through the grass is a great choice -especially if you have other stuff to carry, you can pull it almost like a carry-on suitcase. Stack your purse, game-day bag or other essentials on the top to make it out to the field!

There are soo many options to chose from, and so many more things I want to go back and get for when soccer starts again in the Spring.

Be sure to visit your local Dicks Sporting Goods for all your sideline needs!
