As you know I am constantly on the look out for quick, easy and healthy meals for me and my families always-on-the-go hectic schedule. Even though breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day I am known for skipping it in the rush to get the kids to school, and myself to work. I do on occasion grab some fruit and yogurt as I’m running out the door but that doesn’t always cut it especially on a cold winters day. So when I heard about Jimmy Dean Delights® Breakfast Sandwiches with less than 300 calories per serving, I was excited to try them out!
One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches that I used to buy at a fast-food joint when I picked up my coffee was a sausage,cheese and egg english muffin which was easily over 500 calories, not to mention I had no idea what was in it. So I decided to try the turkey sausage egg and cheese english muffin from Jimmy Dean’s; with just 290 calories, and real quality ingredients I knew I couldn’t go wrong…and in less than 3 minutes from the freezer to the microwave I had a hot delicious breakfast sandwich to take with me out the door in the morning.
I have to admit that they are pretty delicious and very filling. Where I’m normally watching for the clock to tell me it was lunch time, I actually worked right through lunch time before my stomach told me it was time to eat! Jimmy Dean Delights have many different options for breakfast sandwiches including a sausage and cheese croissant.
