Top Five Common Misconceptions About Steroid Consumption

Don’t tell me you have never wished for bigger muscles, a better-looking body and greater strength. You can say this as many times as you want in order to convince yourself in the truthfulness of that utterance. However, I will still not believe you. Okay, you might not want to look like Hulk, but hey, you probably want to get bigger to some extent.

Now, here is another thing I will never believe you if you say it. “I’ve never thought of buying anabolic steroid drugs” – yeah, right! Come on, we are not here to tell each other fairy tales. In fact, I don’t care if you’re dishonest to me. The most important thing is to be honest to yourself.

Come Out Of Hiding

The reason why people hide their intentions of using anabolics is rather obvious. You will always come across one individual or the other who has a story to tell and a lecture to hold. And you are oh so sick of hearing that. I get it, since I’m not so keen on seeing everybody think they know what’s best for me.

What bothers me the most, though, is the fact that those people who talk the most are usually the ones who know the least. They’ve heard some vague info somewhere, they believed it and now they think it’s time to spread the word. Well, how about no?

This kind of reckless behavior and superficial way of thinking is what leads people to believe in something without checking the facts first. When steroids are in question, it is dangerous to spread both the positive and the negative information if they are false. Everybody deserves to know the real state of affairs when it comes to these products. Here’s more..

So, don’t be one of those people who think they know everything without actually knowing anything. Instead of encouraging myths and allowing the spread of misinformation, be the one who busts those myths and speaks openly and honestly about anabolic. And I will help you become that person by getting you acquainted with some of the most common myths about this topic.

  1. They Lower Strength And Endurance

At some point, you will probably come across some know-it-all show-off say that steroids will give you the muscles you want, but deprive you of all your strength and endurance in return. Do me a favor and roll your eyes right at them. Where is the logic in this?

How could you possibly get muscles without going through some intense trainings and workouts? And what do you need in order to be able to train hard? Naturally, you need strength, stamina and endurance. Anabolic steroids are actually known for significantly increasing your energy levels by encouraging your body to produce more red blood cells.

  1. They Make Women Look Like Men

Nothing annoys me more than hearing this sentence in relation to steroids. What, do women grow penises if they start using these products? I highly doubt that. Anabolics definitely won’t make women look like men. Unless, of course, that’s what they want… It can be achieved in some ways.

Just like men, when women use these products, they follow detailed instructions. Starting from the type of steroid they take and ending with the right dosage… So, don’t make the mistake of thinking that it will give them any kind of look other than the one they want. It’s not like these are some magic pills that turn frogs into princes, women into men and similar. Get it together, people.

  1. They Are A Quick Fix

One of the most common things I hear among ill-informed individuals is that anabolics offer you the opportunity to get ripped quickly and effortlessly. It’s like they are telling you to take a pill, lie back and watch the magic at work. I hate to break it to you, but this is definitely not the way these products work.

On the contrary, in order to reap the benefits of steroids that increase your testosterone levels for example, you need to maintain a healthy diet and train hard. And, I mean, train really, really hard. If you want to do a half-assed job, you better stop thinking about anabolics altogether. They are definitely not your cup of tea in this case.

  1. They Make Your Penis Smaller

Oh, boy, here it comes. The most feared situation for every single men out there. I don’t even know how this misconception started in the first place. But, it’s rather silly and you definitely don’t have to worry about your penis shrinking.

Now that I think of it, maybe this myth stems from the fact that your testicles might actually shrink a little bit from the use of steroids. However, this is also not a cause for concern, since that effect is temporary. As soon as you finish your cycle, everything will go back to normal.

  1. They Make You Depressed

This is another widespread myth about these products. People seem to think that they will make them moody and nervous. Nowhere in the history of anabolics (see this) has it been proved that steroids can cause depression.

Although the above misconception has significantly been built up by the media, the truth seems to be different. It is true that anabolic steroids can affect your mood. However, that effect is known to be positive, rather than negative.
