Subway Catering – a healthy option for any get together

Most of you that know me, know I LOVE SUBWAY! So of course when they offered me an opportunity to some Subway catering I took full advantage.

Being a working Mom of 3 keeps me busy – I have work until 5 most days, then we have soccer, girl scouts, and all the other things the kids love to do. I’m not always organized enough to have dinner in the crockpot, and sometimes we hardly have time to grab something as were running out the door. Subway has been a staple in our diet, especially in the Spring/Summer when things get really crazy!

What I didn’t realize until recently, is that Subway caters!

When Subway asked me if I wanted to try their catering services, I was completed excited. It couldn’t have came at a better time because my Mom was just asking me what I wanted to do to celebrate my birthday this year.

We just had a small get together, my parents, my sister, husband my 3 kids and my nephew. Though there were just a small group of us, we all have very different taste to how we like our Subway.

When I went onto the online catering menu I was surprised how unlimited the options were. We could choice multiple types of sandwiches (and toppings) as well as breads! The sandwiches are served on a nice platter and made just as yummy as they do when I order my sandwich for lunch.

Now no birthday meal is complete without some type of dessert. Since I’m trying to cut out the majority of sweets, and eat healthier, I opted to get a dozen Subway cookies for everyone to share instead of the classic birthday cake. It was a perfectly sweet ending to a great meal.

The most awesome thing about Subway catering? It’s surprisingly affordable. Most companies will charge an arm and a leg for catering, whether it be for 10 people, or 100. I was surprised how affordable the options are. You can do a giant sub, a catering tray, or Subway to GO meals.
