Savings without the Hassle: Walgreens Paperless Coupons

This shop has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.

I, just like anyone else, love a good deal. But like most things finding deals can be a lot of work. I tried the whole ‘couponing’ thing and realized my schedule didn’t allow for the time that it takes. Clipping coupons going through countless store ads, and then getting at the store to realize you forgot both your list and your coupons at home. Has anyone been there?

I needed an alternative to the couponing craze, something that could save me money, without costing all my time. So when I found out about the benefits of downloading the  Walgreens App I was super excited – Not only could I make my shopping list thru the app (love adding all the sale items so I don’t forget things) but I can also virtually clip coupons to use during my visit!

Using mobile coupons at Walgreens is super easy – You just download the Walgreens app on your smart phone, join the Balance Rewards Program (if you haven’t already), login to your balance rewards/Walgreens account, and start clipping! The coupon saves to your  account and it gives you a bar code for the cashier to scan as you’re checking out. No need to worry about forgetting your coupons or shopping list at home!

I love shopping at Walgreens not only because they have some great deals, but the convenience. I have a Walgreens within a 2 minute drive from my house and my work, so if I ever need to run and get anything it’s super convenient. I had a few things I needed to pick up after work so I ran in with cell phone in hand and I was excited to see how much I saved using the sales and #WalgreensPaperless coupons.

I saved over $35 this trip alone by shopping at Walgreens for sales and using their mobile coupons.

I was so grateful to be able to save that much needed money – My oldest daughter is attending Jr high this year which is not up the street like her old school was. It’s a 20 minute bus/car ride, and she will be having lots of activities going on after school like track practice and  chorus, so we decided to purchase her a smart phone so she could call/text/email to let me and my Mom know what’s going on, when she might need a ride, or even just for an emergency. I know I needed to figure out where to take from my budget to afford her phone bill – and this one trip to Walgreens pays for month 1 – SCORE!

How would you spend the money you saved with Walgreens Mobile Coupons?
