Oreo Truffles

Even though our house is working on eating healthier, we still love to splurge on desserts on occasion. This is one of the easiest, and yummiest Oreo recipes EVER and it always satisfies my sweet tooth!

Recipe:

1 Package of Oreo cookies
8 Ounces soft cream cheese
1 bag of dark chocolate chips

Directions:

-Crumble the package of Oreo cookies on the pulse cycle of your food processor.
-After completed…. add the soft cream cheese.
-Continue to pulse until all ingredients appear smooth.
-Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
-Use an small ice cream scoop form small balls.
-Place each truffle ball onto the parchment lined paper cookie sheet.
-Place the truffle balls into the refrigerator until hardened .
-During this time melt the dark chocolate pieces in a double boiler.
-Stir constantly to make sure they all melt.
-Using a small spoon dip each truffle ball into the melted chocolate.
-Make sure the truffle is completely covered in chocolate.
-Return to a lined cookie sheet and refrigerate until the chocolate cover is hard.
