mike’s limited edition hard pink lemonade: Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness

I have to admit – sometimes after a long, long day – you know rushing to drop the kids off at school, rushing to get to work, rushing after work to pick up the kids, just to run them to soccer practice, a track meet, and then try to rush home to try to fix dinner, get kids bathed, homework done, then to bed., and yada, yada, yada..I just need a drink. Something to take the edge off and just relax and have some time to myself. One of my favorite drinks is mike’s hard pink lemonade. What I love besides the great taste of mike’s hard pink lemonade, is I can actually sit back and relax – and support a great cause at the same time.

Almost after every soccer practice we make a pit stop at Circle K to get the kids a snack. It’s kind of a tradition, and it helps hold the kids over until I can get dinner made. I was so excited last week when I stopped by for our regularly visit and found that the mike’s hard pink lemonade special edition was back! I don’t drink often, but mike’s give me a reason to celebrate!

Breast cancer awareness/ and research is a matter very close to my heart. My Grandmother suffered from breast cancer, and it was not a easy thing for her – or our family – to go through. Though there have been great strides made in the past few decades, we can always do more. That’s what I love about mike’s.  Back in 2009 mike’s introduced their hard pink lemonade to support breast cancer awareness. Since then they’ve contributed more than $1 million dollars to breast cancer research.
