Help Make-a-Wish Come True with the You Share, We Share Promotion

When you’re young you feel invincible, you are looking at your whole life ahead of you with the idea that you have plenty of time to do all the things you’ve always dreamed about. Most of us are able to fulfill some of those fantasies, and have dreams for our future. Not everyone is so lucky.
Last year my daughter came home from school really upset – a girl she went to school with was diagnosed with brain cancer, and things weren’t looking the greatest. The community pulled together to support Kyleigh , organizing fundraisers and “Wear Pink for Kyleigh’ days at school – everything  they could to show love and support.
Unfortunately last week Kyleigh lost her battle – but not before she was able to fulfill some of her dreams.

Kyleigh, thanks to Make-A-Wish, was able to visit Hawaii with her family, swim with the dolphins, and even meet her idol Taylor Swift. These are memories that her family will hold onto for the rest of their lives. Something that couldn’t of been accomplished without the support of foundations like Make-A-Wish.

I know that supporting and donating whenever I can helps make dreams like Kyleigh’s come true. You may not always be able to give directly, but supporting companies who donate to the foundation, can help a lot as well.

SUBWAY® restaurants in the Cincinnati area are joining forces with Make-A-Wish® Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana in helping grant more wishes for local children. They’ve teamed up for a summer-long “You Share. We Share.” promotion whereby a . The program will run through August 30. For every 1% increase in weekend sales during the summer run, Subway will donate $8,000, up to $40,000 to Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

We eat Subway on a regular basis, but during the summer we have made sure to head over there on the weekends so that it can help increase the donation amount given by Subway to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
