A Girl and Her Band Review

When I was asked to do a review of A Girl and Her Band headbands, I jumped on it! My daughter Kayla had recently decided to get ‘Swifty’ bangs (a Taylor Swift haircut for those of you who aren’t in the “know”) and I was already dreading trying to find something to hold her hair off her forehead and out of her face during soccer season.

You know those horrible fly aways, and the bangs that stick on your forehead when your sweating, or worse when they’ve grown out where they are too short to push over to the side, but wayy to long to let it hang in your eyes? Yeah. That’s where we are in the “oops-Mom-you-were-right-I-should-have-never-got-bangs” stage.

I informed Alana, who asked me about the review, that I wanted my daughter to try the headband out for a few practices/games and give me her honest opinion. As many of you know, I would never promote a product I didn’t believe in..or in this case, my daughter didn’t believe in.

As you can see in the pictures below, she is all smiles. She has worn this headband every practice and every game since we started back in April. She is in love with the design, and the colors are right up her alley. Not only is it cute, but it truly is functional. For real. Those fly away’s and bangs stay in place the entire game and unlike other headbands that have a tendency to ‘pop’ off her head as she is running up and down the field, it stays in place. Another great thing? They are machine washable. It’s seriously like the best thing ever. I can just throw her entire sweaty soccer uniform, socks and all, along with her headband and it comes out fresh and clean (and most important – sweat free! #ScoreForMom)

The headbands are soo impressive in fact, even her older sister has put in a special request for me to order her a few customized with her favorite extracurricular: music. There are soo many options, for sports or just everyday wear. They also have some pretty cute & trendy hair ties (My eldest has requested some of these too – the mustache man theme is her fav!)

Don’t just take my word for it – there are plenty of testimonials from people just like you on their Facebook page, or even shout out and ask them any questions you may have on Twitter, and don’t forget to sign up for their newsletter for the latest news and specials!

I did receive a sample headband in return for a review on my blog. Though I received compensation for this review, all opinions are my own (well, and my daughter’s).
